Official Duties of the County Clerk

The County Clerk is a constitutional officer and is elected every four years. The duties of the Clerk’s Office are set forth by the legislature. These duties include issuing marriage licenses, business licenses, hunting/fishing licenses, notary commissions, driver license and vehicle registrations. The County Clerk receives fees for these transactions as set by state law. The County Clerk’s office also keeps the official records of the County Commission.

Meet the Staff

Pam has six full time employees. Each employee is responsible for serving all customers.

Amy England

Amy England is the chief deputy clerk. She is in-charge of processing all daily title work and preparing invoices to be sent to the Department of Revenue

Larry Brantley

Larry Brantley operates the drivers license station, as well as the motor vehicle division.

Elizabeth Buck

Elizabeth Buck does all the bookkeeping and county commission minutes.

Carol Williams

Carol Williams performs all daily office duties. In addition to all of the above individual duties.

Candice Vickers

Candice Vickers performs all daily office duties. In addition to all of the above individual duties.

Karen Fields

Karen Fields performs all daily office duties. In addition to all of the above individual duties.
