The County Clerk keeps the official records of the County Commission. The Clerk serves the Commission by performing such duties as calling roll, recording votes, and taking and storing the official minutes. Our County Commission meets every month on the second Monday of the month.
The County Commission, as it is usually called, is the county legislative body. It is composed of seventeen members chosen by nonpartisan election.
